My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meadow was with the original owner since she was a puppy. Domestic issues meant they had to give him up to the Humane Society in the fall of 2022. The dogs had been starved of attention for several months as well as had inconsistent feeding. They'd also been left alone for extended periods of time. Because of that, we recommend that she not be in a home with small children that may disturb her when eating or try to take things away from her.

Despite his last few months at home, since she's been with the Humane Society, she's shown that she's smart, great with other dogs, is okay with cats (but will chase them), receives correction well, and keeps a clean crate. She is good on a leash and will go to the bathroom in a fenced in area or on a leash. She does fear things being taken away from her and will need an experienced adopter to avoid issues. She's a counter surfer and has mild separation anxiety (will jump fences to get to her person). She can be fearful until she gets to know you. Unless you're a man - that will take a little longer!

Meadow is an incredible dog with a ton of potential with someone that is willing to work with her and get to know her well. She would make an incredible companion.
