Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rescued German Shorthaired Pointer ready for her forever home.
We rescued this sweet girl (Bonnie) from Parker County Animal Shelter in April as a foster because we love GSPs and want to see them thrive.
She was abandoned by her previous owners in the country and a good Samaritan took her to the shelter. Skinny, dirty, and skiddish.
We have brought new life to her and she has her energy and drive back through good nutrition, training, and lots and lots of love.
Unfortunately, being abandoned has caused her to show aggression towards other dogs by way of resource guarding. We had her evaluated by a dog behaviorist and she determined Bonnie would be a good fit as the only dog in the home or with a male that has been fixed.
She is very athletic and smart. She is not trained to hunt.
4 years old
Spayed
All shots current until March 2024
7 basic obedience skills
E-collar trained to work off-leash - House-trained (but can be sneaky around kitchen counters 😉)
Cratetrained
Loves to snuggle
