My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

August is a crowd pleaser: a wonderful greeter to guests, relaxed and easy-going, and loves as much attention as he can get :-)

His owner abandoned him and his 2 feline house mates after their apartment complex was condemned. Thankfully a nice, caring lady that had been feeding them with other cats of the complex, took all 3 of them in after realizing their neglectful owner had left them behind.

August can't wait to meet you. He looks forward to his loving Furrever Home.

Additional adoption info

All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.

Our adoption fee of $125 for adult cats and kittens covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding permanent loving homes for as many abandoned, homeless, and stray animals as we can. Texas has comparitively higher number of homeless pets than other US States.
Most of our pets live in foster homes before they are available for adoption to ensure they are healthy, socialized, and ready to become a part of your family. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.
