Shelby!

Shelby is looking for a new home as her owner recently passed away.  She’s an approx. 8.5-year-old, 78-pound, total sweetheart American Staffordshire rescue.  Shelby loves toys, bones, and snuggles. She's not very shy and will probably give you all sorts of love right off the bat!  She would be best in a home without cats, as she likes to chase them. Shelby has lived with another dog in the past, so she may do well with another calm and friendly dog. Shelby hasn’t met any young kids, so we’re not sure how she would do with them.  She's spayed, microchipped, house-trained, and has a medium energy level.  She has a bit of a limp from an old injury on her right wrist but that doesn't stop her from enjoying walks and playing.  She needs some leash training to return to being a good girl on a leash, is fine when left alone, and knows basic commands. Shelby can do it all! 

She’s really a wonderful dog and deserves a second chance in a loving home.
