My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake, along with the late Josephine, were found under a car and a riding lawn mower just after Hurricane Irma passed through the Tampa Bay area, apparently having survived the hurricane hiding there. From the moment they were rescued, they were extremely affectionate. They were moved to a foster-to-adopt home fairly quickly, but were returned to the rescue after living there for over a year. //

Jake is an energetic, loving guy. He enjoys playing with jingle balls and lounging by his water bowl eating his fresh hay. He loves fresh bowls of lettuce, and especially banana treats. //

* Our adoption fee for a single bun is $75.

Additional adoption info

Our Adoption Process is a Foster-to-Adopt Program wherein you must complete a Foster Application, be interviewed and home-checked by one of our Directors, and be approved via an executed Foster Contract in order to foster your chosen rabbit(s) for a minimum of 3-4 weeks to ensure suitability for the rabbit(s) and your family before formalizing an adoption via an Adoption Contract and paying an adoption fee. Fostering is free, we provide all equipment and supplies necessary except fresh greens/veggies and love. Education according to the House Rabbit Society's guidelines is free. We provide you with a comprehensive Bunny Basics presentation and are available via email, Facebook private message, and your Adoption Coordinator's personal telephone number.
