My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST - on behalf of Richfield Animal Control
If interested in Stella, please email the Animal Control Officer, Richfield, Ohio: phorn@richfieldpd.us
Dogs Unlimited Rescue was contacted by the animal control officer in Richfield. She is really trying to help this dog and give her a chance. Stella needs somebody to commit to working with her on training and providing the right environment for her to thrive.
Dogs Unlimited Rescue has sponsored Stella’s vetting and training. She is spayed and is now up to date on all vetting. She’s been working with a behaviorist as well as the Dog Warden on her training.
Information from Richfield Animal Control:
Stella is a 3yr old Labradoodle, blond in color, about 40 to 50lbs. She unfortunately been through many homes. Stella is a super sweet dog, craving human touch and attention, Stella walks well on a leash as long as there are no cars passing, she is highly reactive to cars, driving by or being in one. Stella also has a high prey drive, so cats and other small animals would be an issue. Stella does not know how to properly interact with other dogs. I was told she grew up around small children, but I have not witnessed how she acts. Stella has the potential to be an amazing companion to the right person, her owner would have to be committed to her training, socialization and always be on alert in case she spots a vehicle or small animal, she will lunge. When I spend time with her in the kennel, she is the most affectionate, loving dog, wanting to be close no matter what you are doing.
