What are boys made of? “ Snips and snails and puppy dog tales”. Roland is a ready for action kind of fellow. When he gets out of his crate in the morning he races to the toy box and grabs an item. His enthusiasm in latching on to the toy makes it seem like he has been longing to get the toy all night long. Roland will do best in a home with another dog. He likes the buddy system. He plays along side his housemates more than with them. He loves a lap cuddle with his foster mom but is not a fan of being picked up. Leash walking was a new experience for Roland when he came into foster care. He now troops along with his foster brother and sisters in a mannerly fashion but can be reactive when another dog is seen. Roland will bring a smile to your face (if not a belly laugh) with his joyous goofus antics. He likes nothing better than to toss a toy into the air and capture it. After he has played, he also loves a sunbath in the backyard along side his foster-sisters. Now that the weather is heating up in AZ, his foster mom needs to make sure doggie water bowl isn’t too full when he and the resident dogs return from an early morning walk since he likes to use his water bowl as a wading pool splashing a mess onto the floor.
