My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HISTORY: HAIKU was pregnant with 7 babies when trapped in south Santa Fe. She raised her babies in a foster home.
TEMPERAMENT:  As a semi-feral rescue, it can take HAIKU a couple of months to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. While she may never be a lap kitty, HAIKU is very loving. She enjoys wand toys and fuzzy mice tossed around the room for her to catch. HAIKU’s idea of Heaven is receiving lots and lots of pets and having her chin and ears scritched. She also adores being brushed. HAIKU can offer long-running, opinionated commentary on whether her person is spending enough time with her and giving her the dry and wet foods she likes. When she does receive enough of those things, HAIKU’s expressions of gratitude are sweet and unmistakable. HAIKU prefers to be an only pet.
