My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ingrid is a 1-year-old, 65-pound German Shepherd that was picked up as a pregnant stray . No family came to claim her so Multiple Breed Rescue took her in so she could have her babies in a safe place. She had her babies April 13th, all of her babies have found their forever homes, now it is her turn.
Hi, I’m Ingrid—but you can call me “Iggy.” I’m a playful and silly girl who laps up attention. I’ll bring you my toys so we can play some games. I love to learn and take direction.
Even though I’ve already been a caring mom to a litter of puppies, I’m just a year old—and may grow a bit more than my 65 pounds—so there’s still lots of things I’d like to explore and get better at. Like, for instance, my toys (yes, I’m bringing up my toys again!). I can show them to you, but I’d like a forever family to teach me how to fetch and respond to commands. True to my German Shepherd heritage, I’m a fast learner and hard worker who will repay a patient teacher with affection, devotion and loyalty.
My foster family has two kids, two cats and one dog, and we get along just fine together. I keep a clean crate and I’ll be rarin’ to go outside when you let me out in the morning.
What else can I tell you? I like to bark and talk to my humans, but I’m also very gentle, so with some guidance I can begin to explore my “quiet side.” And oh yes, I like to chew chew chew—but not your shoes, only dog bones. Pretty smart, eh?
All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
