Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hilda is a petite, lil pocket Pittie at around 35 lbs and 7 years old!
Hilda came to SAAP with puppies in tow. Now that they have all found their furever homes and flourishing she knows it’s time for her to finally find her furever Hoomans!!
She is a loving girl who is an expert kisser and cuddler. Hilda is sweet and funny and such a lover!!
She has never been around small kids so older kids to no kids would be best.
Hilda gets very anxious around other dogs and can be very reactive so her best home would have her be your one and only doggo so she doesn't have to share her love with anyone.
She can be quirky meeting new people so it's best to meet outside with treats so she know she doesn't have to protect anyone! We have been working with a trainer to help her be her best self!!

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.
