Spunky but sweet, I'm a snuggly boy who would be happiest to sit in your lap or go on a long walk so I can sniff all of the leaves, bushes, sticks, rocks, fences, mailboxes.... I think you get the idea! I love exploring the world around me (on my leash, of course) and while I'm in the process of learning my basic manners, I'm great at the ‘sit' command! While I'm not a big jumper, I do sometimes get excited and like to stand on my back legs, but that isn't often, I swear. I am great with other dogs and kids -- they're perfect kissing height! All of our adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, given age appropriate vaccines and are current on their flea, tick and heartworm prevention before they hit our adoption floor. All dogs are negative for heartworms and all cats are negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Dogs and puppies are vaccinated against DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza), Leptospirosis (when applicable), Bordatella and Rabies (when applicable). Cats and kittens are vaccinated against FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Panleukopenia), FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and Rabies (when applicable).
We want to ensure success for all the pets leaving our program to their forever home, so every adoption comes with a folder of goodies such as free dog training services, coupons and discounts from partner businesses, and resources for finding a veterinarian near you! Have other pets at home? Our trained matchmakers are happy to consult with you and help you find a compatible new face.
