My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi y'all, Nola here. I am a 2-year-old, 65-pound Pitbull terrier mix. I was pregnant, living on the streets, when suddenly I found myself in a real-life rags-to-riches story. I had help raising my 14 babies, saw them off to their homes, and now am looking for love again, but in the right places this time around, and in the form of a forever family. No more dead-beat dads for me! I am house and crate trained, and friendly with dogs, cats, and humans of all sizes. Being a teen mom means that I still have plenty of puppy like energy for my next family while also having the soul crushing tiredness of a mom to SO. MANY. KIDS. You moms out there know what I'm talking about! "I gave birth to 14 kids and all I got were these saggy boobs!" should be on a t-shirt, right? Equal amounts of go-go-go balanced by intense periods of napping, only I don't get to partake in caffeine or wine. Back when I lived on the streets, I found a lot of my meals in the trash cans and am having a hard time breaking this habit so food items need to be picked up around me or they might disappear. Hey, I could have picked up worse habits on the streets! I'm single and ready to mingle with a family who's ready to go for walks as often as they are ready to take a nap. If this is you, let's make a match!
