Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WOOF! Are you looking for a gorgeous hunk, handsome and strong, who’s loyal and affectionate? A guy who loves long walks on the beach, and who will love you forever? A guy who will snuggle with you for hours on end? Meet Billy! He’s an American Staffordshire terrier, around five years old and 64 lbs. Tragically, Billy’s owner died suddenly of a heart attack recently, so he needs a new home. He's currently in a foster home near Seattle.
He’s a really wonderful dog: energetic (but not crazily so), loves people, and gets along well with other dogs. He’s a terrific snuggler, and will curl up on the couch with his head in your lap, or lie alongside you in bed as he snoozes happily with your arm around him.
Billy is a “middle-of-the-pack” guy, so he’s neither dominant nor submissive with other dogs, and loves to play. He hasn’t been tested with cats. He’s super-friendly with everyone and is great with kids.
Billy would be a perfect companion for someone who wants an active dog to take on long walks or hikes, and then cuddle up with on the couch afterwards. He’d also be a great play companion for someone with a similar dog. He needs some basic training, but he’s smart and learns quickly. In short, Billy is a typical AmStaff: fun, loving and sweet.
