My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI - I'M ADORABLE RUMBA! I am a happy and lovable 3-year-old male husky mix, currently in a Seattle area foster home. I have so many positive traits and the list is long!

I'm the ultimate snuggle enthusiast and loyal companion. I bond quickly, and will always want to be by your side. And I would love to watch TV with you on the couch.

I'm also a sweetheart with kids! I'm currently in a foster home with a 6-year-old, and I'm gentle and loving.

I'm also a great companion for outdoor adventures! I'm a good on-leash running partner. Even though I'm a husky mix, I would also do fine with a couple half-hour walks each day. It's not a necessity, but I am sure I would love a fenced yard so I can run around and have fun. However, I'd do fine in a condo or apartment, too.

I'm very tuned in to my people and want to make them happy! And I'm super smart - I learn the ropes quickly and am very trainable.

I love other dogs and would do great in a home with another dog. I've participated in many play groups and have done well with multiple dogs at a time! No cats, though - my prey drive is a bit too high for the kitties!

I weigh about 56 lbs., and would do great with an active person, people or family, and preferably with someone who works from home or is retired, only because I love being with people so much! Please email for an application.

Meet the Pet

After an initial interview, we work to set up a meet and greet with the new pet.

Additional adoption info

We work hard to match the right dog with the right person or people. Often people inquire about one dog, but end up adopting a different dog that is a better fit. We have many dogs to choose from and are able to successfully match people with their forever companions.

Go meet their pets

We do private meet-and-greets only.
