IMPORTANT: We are looking for a very specific adopter for Alfie as this poor little girl is very scared and it is likely she had little human contact before she came to HART. She is with one of our trainers and making progress in learning to trust. She is very playful and bonded to 2 of the trainers dogs and loves to run and play with them and be near them. However, it is still hard to pick her up and she is a flight risk. Alfie has so much potential and has made very good progress in a short period of time but still has a way to go. To be considered as a possible adopter for Alfie, you will need to have dog experience as an adult (bonus if you have worked with scared dogs before), already have a playful, outgoing dog that can show Alfie the ropes, have no kids in your home, and live in a quiet, calm home with a highly secure fenced yard.
