SNICKERS is a 9 yr old Benji-type mix who was given up because her family didn’t have time for her. She is shy but once she warms up, Snickers is a total sweetheart. Currently in a foster home, here is her bio in the words of her foster mom:
“Snickers is a 9 year old ray of sunshine.
She exists with my 5 resident dogs. 4 yorkies and a golden retriever. They all sleep together at night.
She is potty trained and will let you know she needs to go. Good on a leash and loves her walks. She will lay in her crate to nap or on your lap. She does well with free roam when you’re not home. She likes car rides and loves the beach. Snickers first 9 years were a little rough. She takes a few minutes to warm up to you. Fast movements and grabbing for her can scare her. She has been great with kids as long as they don’t chase her or try to pick her up, these things scare her. She is full of spunk for an active family and also content laying low for a more laid back family. As long as you have some French fries and Ritz crackers she’s your girl. She’s been an absolute Angel here with us learning not everything is scary.”
Snickers has an appointment for a spay and dental at the end of the month and will be officially available the beginning of June. We are accepting applications now at www.companimals.org. Senior Dog experience is a plus! Adoption $250. Please fill out an application prior to setting up a meeting greet.
