My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Annie. I am a sweet girl who was born April 4, 2021. You may have noticed that I only have one eye, which I’m told makes me extra special and extra adorable. I was a very young kitten when I had an eye injury and it was removed. I don’t know that I am any different from any other cat. I am a bit shy in new environments. Once I get comfortable with new surroundings, I am always out and about, wanting to be part of the family (even if strangers come over). I like to cuddle in bed, every night, with my foster parents and other cats. I love to play with different toys, especially spring toys. Spring toys are the best things ever. If I’m not playing with other foster kittens or toys, you can usually find me cuddled with another cat or kittens or laying on my foster Mom or Dad’s legs while they nap on the couch. I am a very good girl and always use the litter box. Please give me a chance and apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
