RESCUING SUKI

This little girl was found by animal control in a Walmart dumpster. Lucky for her, we had a foster volunteer step up and be able to take her into a loving home. Suki received her FREEDOM RIDE on 4/2/23.

ABOUT SUKI
Suki is 1.5 years old and is approximately 45 pounds. Suki is the perfect gal for anyone looking for a pint-sized outdoors buddy that is also willing to Netflix and nap. She has the energy to be a great partner for hikes, bikes, and playtime. She curls up into a cute little ball on the couch once she is done playing. Her satellite ears are the cutest and her favorite use of them is to hear compliments. When she hears that she's a good girl her tail wags her whole body. She loves people and animals alike and is known for drowning both in kisses. Suki still has the soft feel and goofy personality of a puppy (she falls off of the couch at least once a day) but she's also at the age where she has enough maturity and attention span to learn tricks and manners quickly and easily. She is crate trained, learning leash manners, and was quickly potty trained after going into her foster home. Her continued training should be easy since she is very eager to please and food motivated. Suki's perfect family would be one that's either fairly active or has a big yard. Suki is a bright young girl and needs someone willing to invest in her continued training. She may also do very well in a home that has another dog. She currently resides with a small dog and has a history of getting along well with other dogs when she was in the shelter. She has not yet been tested with cats and kids. She has exhibited some resource guarding and still has puppy energy and playfulness so a home with no children or older children would be best. Suki would love to meet you! Please complete an adoption application if you would like to meet this lovely girl!!

More about this rescue

Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue is a 501 c 3 no-kill, charitable organization dedicated to the care of homeless, unwanted, abused, and neglected pitbulls, particularly those who are considered hard to place or with special needs. All dogs under our care are provided with food, shelter, veterinary care, as well as basic house-training and obedience until placement is found. We will try to match the dog and appropriate, loving, and permanent home based on the dog's temperament & personality evaluation as well as the prospective home's vet & home check. Veterinary care provided will ensure that the dog is in general good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Additionally,"Friends to the Forlorn" Pitbull Rescue Inc. takes pride in educating the public in the importance of proper and responsible pitbull ownership, spaying & neutering, as well as the humane care and treatment of all animals.
