Introducing Laika, the happiest, bounciest girl who instantly rolls over for belly rubs from anyone she meets. With her gentle and submissive nature, Laika is a joy to be around. She particularly loves playing with male dogs and truly enjoys their company!

At about 60 pounds and estimated to be around three years old, Laika might be a boxer-pit mix, though we can't be sure. What's undeniable is her ever-wagging tail and her infectious enthusiasm for life. Laika welcomes everyone like long-lost friends, eager to share her love and get some affection.
Not just friendly with people, Laika has also shown excellent manners with other pets. She's fantastic with cats—she remains cheerful and playful even when swatted a few times. When introduced to dogs, her energy knows no bounds, thriving in the company of those who match her rough and playful style.
Currently fostered in Texas, Laika spends her days joyfully romping around the backyard with her four-legged foster siblings. She often gets vocal during play to show just how much fun she's having. She's intuitive with other dogs' behaviors and respectful of boundaries, making her a well-balanced playmate.
Laika's cuddle sessions are just as legendary as her playtime. She's known to worm her way next to you on the couch, quickly turning into "Licka Laika" with generous kisses. If you're looking for a pup as affectionate as she is playful, Laika is the perfect match.

Available for adoption in TX, WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, CT, VT, NY, PA, OH and BC Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, approximately 30 minutes from the Canadian border). Brought by USDA licensed transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! Our dogs travel in style in our transport vehicle, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care.
The adoption fee is $600 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with a free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program, prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 11,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives!
