Annabelle is an absolutely beautiful domestic long hair female diluted calico. She is between 6 1/2 and 7 years old. She is quite friendly but extremely shy and will hide when given a chance but does like to be pet and share affection. She will need a patient and understanding adopter who will accept her as is and be willing to be patient with her as she comes out of her shell. Once adopted, she will hide until she is comfortable and confident, so potential adopter will need to allow this to a point so she feels safe but also not so much as to prevent regular one on one attention and affection. A small room that she could call her own would be ideal to start her out in until she builds up her confidence. Annabelle lives with other cats at the shelter and tolerates them well so would be fine as your only girl or with other well behaved, non aggressive or non dominant cats. She would do best in a calmer and quiet home. A calm and respectful dog would probably be ok for her, but if she feels scared or threatened she will want to hide so please understand this and keep it in mind if you are serious about adopting her. A wonderful girl, but will need your patience and unconditional love.
