My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack Jack!

I may not win any frisbee or fetch awards, but I’ll definitely win your heart with my cuteness factor.  I may be old but I have crazy uber hearing skills at detecting when you open a bag of treats, even if I choose not to hear anything else.  I am king of my domain, or at least the first step of my current home, where I like to watch what’s going on and occasionally catch a cat nap.  Speaking of cats, they don’t really interest me as long they’re not plotting my demise.

I love pets and cuddles when I approach you.  When people reach for me really fast or try to pick me up it scares me and I let them know really quick they’re ‘in my space’.  My foster thinks I’m part chihuahua cause of this. #funnynotfunny.

I may be 14 but my cool vet says I’m really healthy for my age.  I’m really good at letting my foster mom know I have to go outside too.  But sometimes she gets up to early for me and I like to hang out in my bed until I decide it’s time to get up – I’m the king remember.

I’d really like a home that will let me be me with lots of naps, treats, potty breaks, treats, pets, treats, couch snuggles, oh… and treats.

Age: 14
Breed: Maltipoo

Cats: Ignores them if they ignore him
Crate trained: Never crated
Potty trained: Yes! Should go out often but doesn't have accidents.
Adoption fee: $175

As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us.  Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)

Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine, heartworm test and microchip.

$50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.

Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.

Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.

Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!
