Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stormy! She's 2 years old female cat that came into the rescue from a rough situation. She's skittish at first, and will need a quiet home with very quiet dogs or none at all. She gets scared with other cats as well. Her foster home is working on socializing her more and help her feel more comfortable with other animals. She will make a great pet for someone who has a quiet life, likes to sit and watch TV or read, because she enjoys sitting on your lap. Once she is comfortable with you, she will come and greet you and give you head bumps. A home with windows is a must for this beauty because she loves sitting by the window and people watch. She can do this for hours. Home without kids or mature kids that understand she doesn't like to be overwhelmed and she needs her space.

She is bonded with her foster sibling, Lilith. She has her own listing so check her out. We want to adopt them out together because they are very bonded and Lilith helps brings Stormy out of her shy shell.

We are a small rescue who cares for all our pets in
foster homes. We do NOT have a facility & all animals
are seen by appointment only, after an application has
been approved.
Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed. Call me or email to start this process.

I got involved with rescue work out of love for animals. I had decided to set up my own rescue. I serve mostly deaf animals because they are first to be put down and are usually deemed untrainable, unadoptable and unlovable. I didn't feel this was right or fair.
