Pompeii is around 6 months old and currently weighs approximately 30 pounds. He is has a very friendly, sweet demeanor and is an energetic, loving, sociable, goofy puppy, eager to play and cuddle. He and his siblings were part of an accidental litter. Not wanting to take the puppies to the local high kill shelter, the owner of their mother asked Poochmatch was asked if we could help find them homes. Pompeii was raised with his mother and siblings and has developed a fantastic foundation for his blooming personality due to it. He will make a wonderful companion.

The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525.

Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so.
