Hamuel is ready to find his forever home! He is 3.5 years old, super sweet, and ready to start the rest of his life. He was returned after 2 years due to his owner developing serious health issues. It’s clear he was very loved and they wanted him to get the love and attention he deserves. He has a wonderful appetite and loves exploring lots of fruits and veggies, as well as treats and foraging mix. He can be a little skittish when picking him up, but he loves head scratches under a warm blanket on your lap. Hamuel is currently a solo-piggy, but we would like him to go to a home with another lonely male that he could bond with. Given slow and proper introductions, and a large habitat, there’s no reason Hamuel couldn’t be a wonderful companion to another male. If you are interested in adopting Hamuel, please complete our Guinea pig adoption questionnaire: https://goo.gl/forms/Rp4chEzIus1wTKb03. His adoption fee is $25.
Note: **Guinea pigs are a huge responsibility--they require daily care and weekly cage cleanings (or more, depending on the substrate used in their habitat), lots of fresh hay, veggies, and water, regular nail clippings, vet visits, and supervised floor time every week. We require a MINIMUM habitat size of 8 square feet, and a minimum of 10 square feet for two piggies. They are not ideal pets for small children due to their timid nature and fragile bodies. Many people also develop some sort of allergy to their hay, bedding, or dander overtime. Please do your research prior to adopting guinea pigs to ensure that your lifestyle can accommodate these critters!**

We do not have an actual facility as all of our animals live in foster homes in our community. We schedule meet and greets with approved applicants usually at your home, pet stores or parks. We do not transport, deliver, or charge any fees to meet the animal. Adoption fees are only collected once the animal is adopted.
