My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basil is approx 3 yrs old and 43 lbs, he looks like a schnauzer/ terrier mix , and maybe some bassett as he is a low rider, but we have no idea of what breeds he has in his DNA

He’s overall a good dog, but needs an experienced adopter, he is very timid and shy and takes a while to warm up to new people

He gets along with the other rescues and loves to run and play in the yard with them but can be pushy to new dogs that come into his fosters home and will try to nip

Until he knows them and we feel he will be better as an only dog or with one buddy his size or bigger and no children

He can be hard to put a leash on as he is scared of a leash and could do with some training , he loves to sit in his fosters office while she is working and stays very quietly
He will come when you call him and goes inside when told to

He seems to be very well house trained and will need a fully fenced in and secure yard , he’s a sweet boy that just needs the right home and loving owner
