This sweet goofy pup is approx 7 months old and 35 lbs as of SEPTEMBER 1ST 2023, he should be approx 70 lbs or more when fully grown
He was just a stray picked up by animal control , he looks like a lab mix, but we have no idea what breeds he may have
He likes to be right at his fosters feet where ever she goes, he is a big goofy puppy that loves water and hops into the garden fountain whenever he can , he loves toys and will always have one in his mouth running around the yard, he is a sweet boy and would make a great king or running companion for someone..
He is not fully leash or harness trained but runs out to the yard with the other dogs
He is not suitable for an apt and needs a fully fenced in and secure yard

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only.

WE REQUIRE VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER

The total adoption fee of $500 ( and includes , the interstate health cert and transport to the north east ,spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at

We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.
