Bavaria is a pretty brindle pup nicely sized at 42 lbs. She also has the biggest, most fabulous ears. Volunteers share that she is a little shy but warms up quickly and once she does, she is FUN! Sweet, friendly and calm are just a few of her many charms. We think she'd be happiest as your only pet, but don't worry, she has so much love to give! We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Managed by LifeLine Animal Project, DeKalb County Animal Services provides a humane environment for DeKalb County’s homeless pets. We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuter surgeries, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination, and other lifesaving programs.
