Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky was left with her sister Clover at a very high kill shelter in the parking lot. They were left in a crate with a heartbreaking note. "Lucky and Clover are good dogs. They are not mean. I cannot afford to feed them." The shelter staff has worked with these two and Clover is at home with one of the staff workers, but Lucky is still at the shelter.
Lucky is a very easygoing girl and loves everyone. She's good with other dogs and in fact did well at a recent adoption event filled with people, kids and other dogs. Everyone commented how beautiful and sweet she is, but no one brought her home. She had to go back to the shelter. She is a staff favorite.
Her time is running out. We are looking for a good home for Lucky or a foster situation. Please get in touch if you'd like to meet Lucky.
