MEET CHEVY #3!!

Chevy is such a loving and excitable dog. He loves people so much! Any time new company comes over, her tries to give then a bunch of kisses and affection. He gets a little bit excited around children and doesn't understand how big he really is. So he may do best with older children. When outside. he loves to try and chase birds and cats. However, he also lives in a house with two cats, and he has never attacked them or even lunged at them in the house. He is dog selective. He is mostly submissive and has no issues with most dogs. But, there are times with some dogs he is aggressive. This may be due to the fact that he has been attacked on three different occasions by three different dogs.

Chevy is smart. He knows the basics but would love to learn more especially if treats are involved in the process. He also enjoys brain puzzles and different games to challenge his wits. He is house trained, leash trained, and loves to go anywhere in a car. He loves playing, hiking, and running outside. He also loves camping and going to the lake or anywhere in nature.

Chevy's family cannot care for him anymore. They have incurred some vet bills with the attacks from other dogs and a herniated disc in his back a couple of years ago. He was cleared from the vet, and she does not see this happening again in the future. His current owner is also working many jobs and feels that Chevy is not getting the love and attention he deserves. Are you an active person looking for a loving activity partner? Meet Chevy now!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
