Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Iris is an affectionate and active girl who craves attention from other cats and people. She loves to play and cuddle. She'll entertain herself chasing a toy plastic spring, wrestle and play tag with other cats, and jump and catch a string or ribbon that her human controls. She loves playing hide and seek in a cat tunnel and in a box with or without a playmate. Iris has a discerning palate and a sensitive stomach; she prefers some variety in her diet. She has a healthy appetite for what she likes and devours treats and any flavor of Churus. Iris has a sweet purr and will charm you with it for head scratches, back rubs, brushes, and treats. She will cuddle in beside you on the couch or in the bed at the end of a busy day. Iris is great communicator and will let you know that she has a need through “talking” or behavior; she's easy to figure out if you pay attention and give her the attention that she requires. She's a beautiful girl with a lovely personality. She will thrive in an environment with other adult cats, young or old.
$100 adoption fee per adult cat.
Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
Please fill out an application, 2023 Adoption Application - Google Forms
or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.
The $100 adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
