My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nora is an easy going young adult who enjoys head scratches and lounging on the bed. She doesn't like her picture being taken and has a grumpy face in every photo which doesn't match her personality. She loves her sister and humans. She's friendly and curious and will greet everyone at the door. Nora is assertive and prefers to be the queen of the castle, reigning over others and ordering them around which they don't always appreciate. Her favorite activities are bird watching, sleeping, and wrestling with her sister Dulce. She is bonded with her sister and needs to be adopted with her.

$100 adoption fee per adult cat.

Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.

Please fill out an application, 2023 Adoption Application - Google Forms
or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.

The $100 adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
