My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ziva is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.
Ziva is a very independent cat. She spends most of the day napping in the sun or curled up on her favorite chair. She has been spayed and has had her rabies shot. She is litter box trained and has only been indoors. She is not a fan of children. Not sure how she would do with other animals, she has been the only animal in the house. She is skittish at first but once she gets comfortable she will let you pet her. She is a good cat. Rehoming due to her not being a fan of children.

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
