Hi there, my name is Penny Lane and I am a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix, and I weigh only 6 lbs. I was surrendered to an animal shelter in Lytle Texas when my elderly owners could no longer care for me and then I was quickly picked up by 4 Little Paws Rescue and sent to a foster home.
I am a nice little lady but still confused and scared about what happened and why I am no longer at home where I was comfortable. My foster mom was very patient, letting me adjust for a couple of days and now I have warmed up to her and enjoy being her cuddle buddy. I am indifferent about the other dogs in her house, but as I adjust I may decide to make a friend and start to play again. I am calm, I rarely bark, and I already know how to live in a home. I am housebroken and well-behaved and will walk on a leash when we explore the neighborhood. I don't mind riding in a car and I am the perfect tiny size to be someone's travel companion. There is a rescue dog transport van heading to Connecticut and the surrounding states next week and I will be on board. I am looking for a new forever family and require nothing more than a bit of patience, and lots of love, and I wouldn't mind a snuggly dog bed too.
