Sebastian is an absolute love bug! He is so sweet and eager to please! He is incredibly smart and is coming along great in training. He loves his walks and playtime at the park. He also loves to run and enjoys interacting with other dogs his size. He is confident and curious about the whole world.
This little dude will wear himself out playing and want nothing more to curl up next to you for a nap afterward. Sebastian loves kids and has been great with every kid and dog he has come across. Sebastian is ready to take on the world with his new family!
Energy Level? Medium to High
House trained? Yes. He has had a couple of accidents
Describe how they are on leash? He is able to walk next to you and is very good on a leash. We are diligently working on commands. ​
Describe how they are with other dogs? Very sociable and friendly. He has no fear of larger dogs and wants to play! It's best to pay attention to him as he might seem overwhelming to smaller or older, more calm dogs.
Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? N/A
Commands they know? Circle (heel), free (out of walking next to you), sit (although he still ignores me sometimes), stay ( working on this), go potty, go outside, kennel. He doesn't want to kennel. So as soon as I say kennel, he jumps in the chair!
What are their favorite things? He loves to hike with us and go to the park! Loves to train!!!! He is so smart and wants to please his person.
What do they need to work on? Sebastian is a young male and needs training. He will thrive with a person or family that is willing to keep working with him.
How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone? He has been left alone for about 4 hours in his kennel. He is good when we take him with us too.
Where do they sleep? He is crate trained at night but would rather be with us. He has twice fallen asleep in bed with our daughter before being moved to his crate. He would be a great snuggler at night but can be crated if preferred.
What is their ideal home? I see Sebastian with a family with kids and maybe even another dog his size. He has absolutely thrived in our home with us. He loves people and is super sociable. He wants and needs a lot of attention but can also calm down and be fine on his own. This guy needs an active companion. Someone who wants a pup that is with them in nature and at parks, that wants to train and be his best friend!
