My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toe Beanz reporting for duty—certified waterworks engineer, part-time lap cat, and full-time enigma. First things first: Yes, I have extra toes. No, I won’t be using them to do taxes, but they do make me extra fancy. My special skill? Giving my paws a full spa treatment in the water bowl—because cleanliness is next to catliness. If my bowl isn’t heavy enough, I will flip it. If my hydration station isn’t up to my standards, I will redecorate. Basically, I believe every home should have a proper aquatic feature (a.k.a. a soaked floor). I may not be the life of the party at meet-and-greets, but at home, I’m sweet in my own mysterious way. I enjoy my space, my cozy hideaways, and the occasional lap visit—when the stars align just right. I also have a bit of a raspy, noisy purr, which only adds to my air of mystery. Don’t worry, the vet checked me out—I’m just dramatic like that. I’m great with cats, okay with a quiet dog, and not a fan of chaotic little humans. If you’re looking for an independent, quirky girl with built-in mittens and a passion for aquatic mischief, I just might be your purr-fect match.

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
