My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Betty, the purr-fect blend of sweet personality and diva sass, raised in a household full of rowdy boys! You could say I'm a bit of a princess with a touch of tomboy charm. When it comes to chilling, you'll often find me lounging on laps like a true lap chiller. But don't be fooled by my regal demeanor—I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get in on the action when playtime rolls around. Though, let's be real, sometimes I'd rather sit it out and watch the chaos unfold from the comfort of my throne. Now, let's talk treats. Sure, I'll indulge in a snack or two, but moderation is key, darling. A lady must watch her figure, after all! And speaking of watching, window watching is at the top of my list of favorite activities. There's nothing quite like basking in the sunlight while keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood happenings. Who needs reality TV when you've got a front-row seat to the great outdoors? So, if you're in need of a sweet, sassy, and slightly indulgent companion, look no further than Betty. With me around, every day is a royal affair filled with cuddles, playtime, and just a hint of diva flair!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
