Kimmy is a sweet, petite, mixed breed dog who is about 2 years old and weighs 45 pouns. Kind and shy by nature, Kimmie loves other dogs and has been in a foster home with kids. She enjoys peace, quiet, reading non-fiction and sipping hot tea. She also enjoys the freedom of a fenced yard and the company of other dogs. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
