Why I need a new home

Found or abandoned

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

According to the Vet, Odie is approximately 7 months old. We got him from a young woman who rescued four abandoned puppies from a trashcan. We did not know what breed he was. We knew he would be bigger than the two dogs we already had, but we didn’t know how big he would get until we took him to the Vet. The Vet says he is mostly an Australian Shepherd, possibly with some Lab. He currently weighs about 47 lbs.

Odie is such a sweetheart. He is very loving and friendly and loves to play. Our other two dogs are older. Odie wants to play, but they don’t. In addition, we don’t really have the room to keep him safe and we don’t want him to stay on a leash all the time.

We want Odie to go to a good home where he will be loved as much as we love him, but where he can also have enough room to run and play. He is a wonderful dog with lots of energy and will make a great and loyal companion.
