My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Get ready for some cuteness overload with Esme, the most adorable tiger cat you'll lay your eyes on! Despite her tough start in life, Esme hasn't let that dampen her spirit! She's a resiliant little sweetheart who just needs a patient and loving family to give her what she needs. Esme is likely to be shy with new people, but once she opens up, she becomes a purrfect bundle of love and affection. She gets along famously with the other cats and foster kittens and likely will do fine with a gentle dog. She would be thrilled to have some furry friends to play and snuggle with. Let's find Esme the loving home she deserves!

Esme is spayed, up to date on vaccines and negative for FIV/FeLV. She is ready for her forever home! Apply for Esme at www.castawaycritters.org/adopt

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
