Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sesame was found in a feral colony at about 3 months old. She is very shy at first, so she needs an adopter who is willing to be patient while she learns to trust them. Once she comes out of her shell, she is a purr machine who loves head scratches and snuggles. If you think you can give this little banshee a loving home, please fill out an application!

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

2.
Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
