My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Helena is a beautiful girl that was in big trouble when we rescued her. We took her in on Sat. and she gave birth to 9 pups the next day.. She was an excellent mother and all of her pups found homes. Now she is ready!! She is a beautiful golden color- a lab mix is our best guess. She has short hair and beautiful eyes. She will not mess in her pen at all so she is walked a lot. She is heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccs. She is spayed.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

Go meet their pets

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

More about this shelter

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
