Elena's journey has been one of adversity and triumph, having been one of the nine Neapolitan Mastiffs rescued from a heartbreaking animal abuse and drug-related case. This incredible girl arrived at the shelter with her newborn pups, determined to protect and provide for them despite her own challenges.

Amidst her health struggles, including an upper respiratory infection and other infections, Elena fought valiantly to recover. Her transformation from a distressed mother to a playful, joyful girl is nothing short of inspiring. Having now conquered her obstacles and undergone spay surgery, she's ready to embrace the love and security of a forever home.

She is house trained, crate trained, basic obedience trained, and walks well on a leash. Like most Neos, she needs slow introductions to people and isn't a fan of young children or small dogs. She is untested with cats.

Her playful nature is beautifully complemented by her affection for her favorite octopus toy–a reminder of her youthful spirit. Elena's heart knows the joy of chasing toys and the comfort of companionship, making her the perfect addition to a loving, adult-only home with breed experience.
