My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Beatrix, a dog with a story that needs to be heard! This beautiful and sweet girl found her way to the shelter on 5/25/23, arriving as a stray. Beatrix is 4 years old and weighs a perfect 33 lbs, making her the ideal companion for both outdoor adventures and cozy cuddle sessions. What sets Beatrix apart is her unique blend of playfulness and serenity. She has a calm demeanor making her a perfect match for families and individuals alike. When she's not busy charming everyone with her gentle nature, Beatrix loves to show off her impeccable manners by sitting obediently for treats. And toys? Let's just say Beatrix can turn any ordinary day into a playful adventure with her enthusiasm and curiosity. Although Beatrix has already received her vaccinations, it's important to note that her heartworm test came back positive. However, with proper care and treatment, she can make a full recovery and live a long, happy life. Beatrix is spayed and and the shelter will assure she is microchipped before she finds her forever home. Come and meet Beatrix, ID 645109, in Run# 303, and be prepared to fall head over heels for this incredible dog who is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless tail wags into your life.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER - names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This beautiful baby and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
