Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is a handsome 9-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler-Australian Shepherd mix who was surrendered by his owner on May 19, 2023.

Cooper has a black-and-gray short smooth coat, a long tail, and the sweetest face with baby blue eyes, beige/gray eyebrows, gray shading on his muzzle, and short floppy ears. Cooper was smiling in most of his photos which were taken in our Receiving area when he was originally in our shelter in early January 2023. Cooper had the most adorable facial expressions as he looked at the camera.

We look forward to taking updated outdoor photos of this gorgeous boy.

Cooper currently weighs 60.4 lbs. He does not get along with smaller dogs.

Cooper was neutered on February 14, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Cooper was adopted from HSOV in March 2023 but was returned on May 19th because of an unfortunate incident when Cooper was apparently startled by someone who was straightening up his blankets and reacted inappropriately (and made contact with that individual with his teeth) :( In compliance with our policy/procedures, Cooper was assessed and quarantined for the 10-day period with no further incidents.
