Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marvin is a gorgeous two-year-old, 55-pound, male Coonhound looking for a loving guardian.
Marvin was rescued in Kentucky and made his way to Chicago to find his family.
Marvin is social, energetic, a bit of a doofus, and the life of the party! Like many young dogs, Marvin can still be jumpy and boisterous in his greetings. He’s looking for an active family that also enjoys training classes. Once he's exercised for the day, he is happy to cuddle up on the couch with his favorite people. He is generally quiet but can be vocal when crated or when excited. Marvin does have the loud, melodious bay that hounds are famous for! Because of this, we are recommending a single-family home environment for him. In a condo or apartment setting, close neighbors may not appreciate his beautiful hound song.
Marvin is being fostered in a home with five other dogs and gets along well with his housemates. He is crate-trained and does very well with his housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Marvin is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee of $375 benefits Pals Place Rescue. Marvin is being fostered on the far southwest side of Chicago and can be seen by appointment after submitting your application at http://palsplacerescue.org/adopt
