My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:7/3/2022

Description:

Tobin was rescued from a life in which humans were scary! His instinctual reaction when approached by one is to act tough and hiss in an attempt to be scary himself. Tobin might be a good actor, but his bark is much worse than his bite. In fact, there is no bite at all! Tobin is an utter marshmallow once you reach past his hiss and scoop him into your arms. He dissolves into a puddle of snuggles, begging for tummy rubs, and LOVES kisses! This is a game that Tobin plays over and over again until he truly trusts he is safe. Tobin’s purrfect family will be patient with him and laugh at his silly quirks! Tobin has a passionate love for other felines and will quickly do his best to befriend any other kitty siblings in his new home! Tobin has so much love and joy to bring to his forever home!

Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
