Peterson is a very, very playful, sweet boy with a bright personality. But he also has a shy, calmness to him as well. He came to our rescue when Clayton County Animal Control put out an urgent plea for a rescue to pull a 15 week old puppy that had what they thought was a hip injury. His estimated birthday is Dec 2022.

From his foster - "Mr. Peterson had the day of his life today. We took him to Serenbe in Chattahoochee Hills. He had our full attention, and we worked on training with the sitting and staying. He's such a wonderful walker and ignores other dogs and people. He met many critters today including Billy goats and donkeys. The funny thing is though we were there for hours and he had lots of water that I brought with yet he didn't pee one time! Once we got home, put them in the backyard he Peed forever!!! And pooped!! He is a good boy.

He walks so nice, and he ignores any people and other dogs. Totally housetrained and working on commands like sit and stay, so far so good!"

Additional adoption info

We require a pre-adopt to be filled out then a home visit and vet check is done prior to adoption. Adoption fees are normally $200 - $350 but some adoption fees could be higher depending on the breed.. All pets are vaccinated, heartworm negative, spayed/neutered and microchipped. If a pet is heartworm positive it will undergo a treatment plan.

We rescue bully breeds as well as other breeds. Our group was formed in 2009 because of the heartbreaking need to help the homeless animals in our area. We are licensed by the Dept. of Agriculture and registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue. We fundraise constantly to help pay for medical emergencies.
