My name is Miles!

Miles is gentle and loving mixed breed recue that's looking for his forever home. Miles has been working daily with his volunteer handler practicing basic obedience and spending time in public getting to meet new people and explore new environments. Miles is a shy 2 ½ year old boy and the gentlest dog one could ever meet. He bonds quickly to whomever he is with and has shown no aggression whatsoever to other dogs or humans that we have observed.  Each week, Miles will be working on additional obedience skills and we are happy to offer continued obedience training for Miles and his future family at no charge once adopted.  Miles is available for a visit at your request to show you the love and affection he has to offer!

Miles enjoys his afternoon walk with his BFF, Char (the husky).  Her mom works where Miles is being boarded.  Sometimes, she take Miles on walks with them.  He walks very well on a leash. They love playing with each other.  Everyone jokes and says they are dating because they will only play with each other if they are out together.

Miles came to us with a broken leg after being backed over with a car.  After surgery, his leg healed very well. He's a very playful, active, and loving doggy that anyone would be fortunate to have as a family member. He will need to continue with Simparica Trio as a preferred flea/tick med along with Heartworm preventive.  His birthday is estimated to be Nov 2021.
