I’m strong to the finich, ‘cause I eat my spinach, I’m Popeye the sailor man! That’s what ‘lil Popeye would say, if he could actually speak! This sweet 6-year old, 11-pound Shih Tzu is a total dream machine, and nothing gets him down, including the fact that he’s got only one eye!
Popeye’s heart is bursting with love and he adores every single creature he meets. He’s super friendly and has the type of personality that draws everyone in. Cuddly and affectionate, you couldn’t ask for a better couch companion to hang out with. Wanna watch TV? He’ll snuggle up right next to you. Wanna take a nap? He’ll be right beside you, soundly snoozing too. Popeye’s a soft furry mush, who just wants to be wherever you are!
Popeye is fabulous on a leash and takes care of all his bathroom needs outside. He walks at a nice pace and he’s able to navigate his world just fine using his left eye. He also enjoys roaming around in the backyard and has been known to sunbathe outside when the weather is mild. He prefers to think of it as working on his tan! ;-) When no one is home to hang out with him, Popeye will stay in his crate, without any issue.
Happiest when in the company of others, Popeye is most relaxed when he’s got his humans nearby to chill with. He’s also terrific around other dogs. He’s a delightful little dude who would do well in almost any type of environment, as long as it’s a home filled with love, loyalty, and devotion.
