Coach Beard is still hoping to “kick” back with his new family this summer.
Coach Beard was part of our Ted Lasso Litter. 18 week old, shepherd mixes. Both him and his sister, Rebecca Whelton, were part of a litter of 11 pups that were brought to a vaccination clinic in Cleveland, TX. Owner had an unwanted litter and was looking for assistance with getting the puppies secured with rescue and getting mom spayed. Both Straight Outta Texas and another rescue stepped up to secure these pups. Mom has gotten spayed and her 11 pups will be in their forever homes soon.
Coach Beard is described by his foster mom as “a playful pup that likes to play with dogs his size when not focused on getting attention from his human. He loves being pet and held, with a lap being his favorite place to sleep. Coach Beard is very friendly, mellow, well behaved and has a good demeanor. If he’s unsure of a situation he will find a nice corner to sit and observe.” He is child and dog friendly. He will need training to coexist with a cat. He finds them a bit too interesting currently.
Coach Beard is currently being fostered in New England and is looking for their forever home in CT, ME, NH, & VT.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, Adopt a Pet and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue and veterinary care of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. The transport fee is an additional $225.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
